Daffodil Garden Template
If you are using Firefox and click the Download button, you will see a bunch of gibberish. Instead, right click the Download button and save the file to your computer.
The Daffodil Garden Template is a fixed width equal height layout set for a 1024px width screen resolution with no horizontal scroll. If viewed at less than a 1024px resolution, the viewer will see a horizontal scroll. The template is based on one of the Site Templates offered by Migrating from FrontPage to Expression Web which has been heavily tweaked.
Menu
The menu used with this template will allow one additional level of menu as shown in the Section Menu. If you need to change your menu from section to section, you will need to make all or part of the leftColumn1 section an editable region.
Images
The masthead image is from a photograph I took a number of years ago of one of our neighbor's wooded lot - Mr. Brown's Garden. You are free to use the image as part of this template. Styles are include to position images floated to the right, left, or center of the page.
Photo Gallery
The Photo Gallery page makes use of one of the commercial add-ins available for Expression Web - Ajatix Lightbox Add-In.
Miscellaneous
Editable regions in the dwt include the doctitle, description, keywords, and the main content area. The right sidebar is not an editable region but can easily be changed to that.
To achieve the equal height column look with the green border extending the full length of the columns, a background image in used for the contentWrapper.
